The National Civil Rights Speakers  and Training Bureau provides access to a wide array of iconic and new voices addressing civil rights and social justice issues. We diligently research the ideal speaker for each event, handle all the contracts, and cover legal paperwork to you’re your event successful and stress-free.

The National Civil Rights Speakers & Training Bureau is the marketing liaison between the speaker and the client. Compensation for our research and consultation services is provided on a commission basis by the speaker and solely in the event of an actual booking. We take seriously our responsibility for providing our clients with appropriate speakers within a specified budget. For this reason, we will offer suggestions for the best speaker for your event—no matter what the occasion.

When booking a speaker, his or her fee is quoted for a keynote presentation, unless agreed otherwise. Most keynote addresses range in time from 30 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on the speaker’s style and the client’s needs. We can also provide quotes for  half day, full day, workshops and training options.

We take care of all contracts. We require a non-refundable 50% deposit of the speaking fee at the time of booking and require the remaining 50% of the speaking fee one week prior to the scheduled event.

The client is responsible for customary travel expenses, accommodations, meals and incidentals that are incurred by the speaker. Such expenses are not considered part of the speaking fee.

Because fees for booking international engagements are generally higher than for domestic engagements (surcharges, tax rates, travel time expenditures, etc.), quotes for international appearances will be made in consultation and agreed upon contractually before the international event.
